To the Editor:
This is an open letter to the residents of Manchester.
Back on July 23rd, 2019 Dede and I became the owners of what is now the Laughing Gull on Summer St. To say it has been a journey would be an understatement.
As we come upon our one-year anniversary, reflect on where we began and where we are now it’s touching to think about all of our guests who have been so supportive. This was especially true when it became clear that we were temporarily shutting down due to COVID-19. All the messages, conversations, and cards of encouragement and support have been utterly amazing.
Thank you for allowing us to be a part of the community in this way. We’re looking forward to continuing the journey.
