William (Bill) Vincent Palinski

William (Bill) Vincent Palinski Jr, 82, of Beverly, passed away on August 15, 2019 at CareOne at Essex Park in Beverly, MA.

Bill was born in Manchester-by-the-Sea, MA on April 30, 1937, the son of the late William & Virginia Palinski.

Bill is survived by his wife of 53 years, Mary Carolyn Lane Palinski of Beverly and their two sons, Michael and his wife Kathleen of Gates Mills, Ohio and Brian and his wife Cheryl of Mansfield, MA. He is also survived by his five loving grandchildren, Mackenzie, Max, Megan, Connor and Taylor. He was predeceased by his brother Robert.

Bill served in the United States Marine Corps and worked for 30 years at the United Parcel Service (UPS).  He was a graduate of the class of 1953 at Story High School in Manchester-by-the-Sea, MA. 

Throughout Bill’s life, he loved to spend as much time as he could outdoors, whether it was out on the ocean in his lobster boat or simply working in his yard. He was an avid fisherman and spent many years of his life lobster fishing, fly fishing, salt-water fishing and surf casting. One of his biggest fishing moments was catching a 52-lb striped bass off Singing Beach.

A funeral service will be held at Campbell’s Funeral Home, 525 Cabot St, Beverly, on Wednesday, August 21 at 11:00 a.m. Visitation will be held prior from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. A burial service will follow at Pleasant Grove Cemetery in Manchester-by-the-Sea.
