Suzanne "Sue" Jorgenson Baker

Posted

Sue passed away peacefully with her family at her side at Beverly Hospital January 7, 2020.  Sue has joined her parents, Calista and Author Jorgenson, as well as her siblings Janice Crane Arnold and Martin Jorgenson. Alongside Sue are all her beloved pets from the past years.  Sue is survived by John, her husband of 44 years; her sons and daughter in-laws, Patrick and Karla, Kenneth and Jocelyn, Clifford and Julie; grandchildren Stephanie, Jonathan, Ariana, Chloe, Jennifer, and Clifford Jr.; and great-grandchildren Waylon and Bentley. Sue is also survived by her sister Grace Linda Jorgenson. Sue also has a niece and several nephews that she loved dearly. Sue was a lifelong resident of Manchester and well-loved in the community. Sue had a successful salon business as a hairdresser for several years until family duties took priority. Sue still maintained an established list of clients over the years that would come to the house and have their hair done while raising her three boys. Sue was never afraid of being open and honest about her true feelings, telling it like it was and letting you know you were number one when you deserved it. This was a known and an amazing quality about Sue.  Sue supported her three sons with everything they wanted in life, especially their love for hunting and the great outdoors. She always pushed her boys in the right direction. Sue will surely be missed by everyone that knew her. Services will be held at a later date to be determined. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Cape Ann Animal Aid in her memory.
