Linda J. Wheelock, 55, formerly of Manchester-by-the-Sea, beloved wife of Tobias D. Benn, died Wednesday, July 10, 2019 at her home following a long illness.
Born in Beverly, she was the daughter of the late Phillip and Marilyn (Easton) Wheelock. She was raised in Manchester-by-the-Sea and graduated from Manchester High School, class of 1982.
Mrs. Wheelock had been employed for many years as a clerk for the Town of Manchester. A longtime resident of Manchester before moving to Monson, MA, Linda had a great love for animals and supported the Cape Ann animal shelter in Gloucester.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by many paternal cousins, many maternal cousins and many dear friends.
Her funeral service will be held graveside, at the Pleasant Grove Cemetery, Pine Street, Manchester-by-the-Sea, Saturday, July 20, 2019 at 1:00 p.m. Relatives and friends are invited to attend.
