Janet M. (Bartolomeo) Beaulieu

Janet M. (Bartolomeo) Beaulieu, 79 years, of Manchester-by-the-Sea, passed away Wednesday afternoon, May 27, 2020 at Beverly Hospital. She was the beloved wife of the late Arthur Beaulieu.  Born in Boston, she was the daughter of the late John and Helen (Dahl) Bartolomeo.  She was a graduate of Gloucester High School Class of 1958.

Janet had been employed at Oakwood Nursing Home in Manchester as a nurse’s aide for many years.

She loved her family deeply, and always cared for the welfare of animals.  She will undoubtedly be remembered most for her uncommonly kind heart.  Janet was a devoted member of the Grace Community Church in Marblehead.

Surviving her are three daughters, Carla Iwata of Manchester-by-the-Sea, Lisa Dunne of Gloucester and Lynda Gilson of  Manchester by the Sea; six grandchildren, Michael, Kevin, Ryan, Sean, Amanda and Jennifer and two sisters, Karin Aucone and her husband Joseph of Manchester-by-the-Sea and Helen Pilling of Beverly; a niece Tania Dokken and her husband Eric of Marblehead and many loved ones.  Also survivied by a son in law Alan Gilson of Manchester by the Sea.  She was also predeceased by her brother, John Bartolomeo, a niece, Melissa Pilling.

 Due to current precautions for Covid-19 her services will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations in Janet’s memory may be donated to Cape Ann Animal Aid 4 Paws Lane Gloucester, MA 01930.
