Northeastern University Professor to Discuss Presidential Primaries

The presidential primary elections will be the topic of a free dinner meeting on Monday, February 3 featuring Dr. William Mayer, professor of political science at Northeastern University. The event will be held from 6:00–8:00 p.m. at Pingree School, 537 Highland St., South Hamilton, MA, and is sponsored by We Are America The Beautiful. William Mayer has been a professor of political science at Northeastern for the past 28 years. He is considered an expert on U.S. presidential elections and has published four books.

The event will offer a free light dinner, followed by a presentation and a question and answer period. Babysitting is provided. Reservations may be made via the We Are America Facebook page.

We Are America The Beautiful is a non-partisan civic action initiative founded in December 2016 by Manchester resident Therese Melden and Beverly resident Kim Woods.  The organization seeks to engage our neighbors to learn about the status of national events, the impact of local action and the importance of voting thoughtfully.
