Board of Health Update: 

Don’t Rock the Boat. Mask Up MBTS! Gatherings are limited to 10 indoors and 25 outdoors.  Violations are subject to a fine.  

40B Public Forum: 

The Board of Selectmen will host the next 40B Project meeting on Thursday, December 3 at 6:30 PM via Zoom.  The meeting will begin with a presentation of the Manchester Housing Production Plan followed by a question and answer session with the public on the proposed 40B project.  Visit the Town website to find the most current information, meeting dates and meeting recordings on the 40B Project.  

Preliminary FY22 Budget Presentation: 

On Monday, December 7, the Town’s preliminary budget will be presented to a joint meeting of the Selectmen and the Finance Committee.  See the meeting agenda and zoom link on the town’s website.   

Blue Light Reminder: 

The Manchester Police Department would like to remind residents about the “Blue Lights”.  There are blue emergency lights placed at select intersections throughout Town. These lights turn on during extreme weather emergencies such as snowstorms. When the blue lights are activated, on-street parking is not permitted to allow for DPW to clear roadways safely. 

Police Chief Office Hours: 

Chief Fitzgerald will hold his monthly office hours on Thursday, December 3 from 4 PM – 6 PM at Seaside One.  

Town Common Holiday Illumination: 

Residents can view this light show every night from December 1 – January 1 at 6:05 PM.  Sponsored by The Manchester 375th Committee and The First Parish Church. Please wear a mask, socially distance and enjoy! 

Christmas by the Sea Stroll: 

Shop local in Manchester, during this annual stroll, from Friday, December 4 – Sunday December 6 and support our small businesses.  Sponsored by the Cape Ann Chamber of Commerce.  

MBTS Beaches: 

Dogs are now allowed on Singing Beach through April 14.  Beach visitors are limited to 2 dogs per person.  

Town Hall Payment Drop Box: 

Installed at the rear of Town Hall by the Police Station Blue Door and monitored by a security camera.  Please use this convenient box to drop payments off for any Town Bills. Please, no cash.
