Manchester Local Elections Are Nearly Here

Local elections are here, and in Manchester-by-the-Sea, the Planning Board is the only contested race, which shows that zoning just might be where the action is in the coming years.  Four residents are vying for two open seats—Sarah Creighton, Christine Delisio, Garlan “Gar” Morse, and Laura Tenny. 

The Manchester Cricket Editor Erika Brown hosted a forum with the candidates to learn why they’re running and probe important local issues like recodification, the Limited Commercial District, and how the goals of the Master Plan should be realized.  Town Election is May 18 at the Manchester-Essex Regional High School on Lincoln Street, Manchester.

Local Election is scheduled from 7.00 a.m. to 8.00 p.m. Tuesday May 18.  Voting will take place at the Manchester Essex Reginal High School cafeteria at 36 Lincoln Street.  Here are the candidates who will appear on the ballot.
