Manchester Board of Selectmen Weekly Update for May 28

Town Hall will be closed on Monday, May 31 in observance of Memorial Day.

Town Hall is Open to the Public:  Hours are Monday through Wednesday 8:30 a.m. – 5 p.m. and Thursday 8:30 a.m. – 6:30 p.m. A face covering is required inside Town Hall. 

Singing Beach Reopens:  On May 29 Singing Beach will reopen the bath house, parking lot and canteen. The beach will be open and staffed weekends only until June 21 and then will be open seven days a week. Parking at the beach is for residents only with valid 2021 stickers. A limited amount of non-resident spaces will be available on weekdays as space allows.

Paving Bridge Street:  Mass DOT is currently milling and paving Bridge Street.  The project is expected to be completed by early June.

Police Dispatch Public Forum:  The Board of Selectmen (BOS) will host a public forum during their biweekly meeting on Monday, June 7 at 6:30 p.m.  Please see the Town website for details.

Police Chief Office Hours: Chief Fitzgerald will hold his monthly office hours on Thursday, June 10 from 4 p.m.to 6 p.m. at Seaside One.  All residents are invited to stop by and say hello.

Annual Town Meeting:  The Annual Town Meeting will take place on Monday, June 21 at 6:30 p.m. outside on the Manchester Essex High School Athletic Field. Rain date is June 23.  Proper COVID safety protocols will remain in place.

Trash, recycling, and compost collection:  One day delay due to the holiday.
