Fall Update on Manchester Beaches

Posted

The Manchester Parks and Recreation Department has updated the Fall 2020 procedures for visiting Singing Beach and all other Manchester-by-the-Sea beaches.

The Summer 2020 beach season was successful.  Residents respectfully complied with the Town’s COVID-19 beach guidelines which helped keep the beaches open and running safely all summer

Effective immediately, all Manchester-by-the-Sea beaches will remain open to residents only through October 15.  The Parks and Recreation Department and the Manchester Police Department will continue to staff Singing Beach on weekends and on warmer weekdays Parking stickers and beach tags will be required to access the beach during this time.

The Singing Beach Bath house is now closed for the season.  Two port-a-lets will be available for use in the parking lot. However, Tucks Point bathrooms will remain open through Columbus Day.

The Town of Manchester-by-the-Sea would like to extend gratitude and thanks to all the beach staff who worked tirelessly and diligently during this unprecedented summer.
