Light Up Essex is Underway

It was four years ago that a group in Essex started a tradition to brighten up its town and have some fun in the process. Light Up Essex challenges businesses and residents to put their best seasonal light decorating foot forward. This year the contest also has an online portion, to ensure safe distancing. There’s a competition component to this as well, in the LUE’s “Light Fight” where the competition for votes is fierce. Voting opened this week and continues until January 1. Worth the drive.
