115 Years Ago – 1904
Albert Cogswell launched his handsome new gasoline launch on Thursday afternoon. She is named “Ruby.” He took a party to sail down on the river and she proved a fast one. She is built of the best material throughout a fastened with copper. Albert has spent many pleasant hours working on her.
90 Years Ago – 1929
Albert Luther French, son of Mr. and Mrs. Luther French of East Gloucester, who was recently knocked down by an automobile receiving injuries from which he died, formerly lived in South Essex. He was twelve years old.
