Artist Anna Kasabian’s New Sculptures Porcelains

Posted

Anna Kasabian, local artist who works from her studio in Manchester, has recently presented six new sculptures--all but one titled to honor the beaches that inspire her work.  The new pieces have names that include, “Tide Dance Crow Island,” “Morning Tide Black Beach,” “April Moon Rose,” “Gentle Tides Magnolia Beach,” “Windy Shores Black Beach,” and “Rough Waters Singing Beach.”

Inspiration for these organic shapes often comes from the local landscape— beaches, rocky shorelines, and beautiful gardens that Kasabian said are “part of her day.”

Kasabian’s work appears in public venues and private collections worldwide and is an extension of her passion for creating beautiful interiors. Over the years she has written scores of articles on interior design and more than a dozen books.  To see Kasabian’s work, go to (annakasabianporcelain.com).
