Busting Breast Cancer Book Cover
Manchester resident and author, Susan Wadia Ells, PhD, announced publication of her new book, “Busting Breast Cancer: Five Simple Steps to Keep Breast Cancer Out of Your Body.”

This is the first book on breast cancer prevention, based on a metabolic understanding of cancer.  Written for the layperson, the work is based on 12 years of research and writing, with substantial funding from hundreds of individuals on Cape Ann and from a few small family foundations around the country.

The book includes a foreword by Boston College biologist, Thomas N. Seyfried, author of the 2012 seminal book, Cancer as a Metabolic Disease: On the Origin, Management and Prevention of Cancer.

Busting Breast Cancer goes describes safe and effective alternatives to mammograms.  These prevention-oriented steps include: the importance of losing all excess body fat by following a low carb or ketogenic diet, practicing intermittent fasting, maintaining a vitamin D3 blood level about 60 ng/ml, keeping your brain and body cleansed of chemical and animal hormones, and reducing high cortisol levels caused by chronic stress.

“US women are suffering needlessly, surrounded by today’s unnecessary breast cancer epidemic,” according to Wadia-Ells.

Metabolic cancer practitioners around the world are giving the book favorable reviews, including Joseph Maroon, MD, a neurosurgeon for the Pittsburgh Steelers.  Heidl Scholar in Neuroscience at University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine, writes, “This bold, superbly researched book is a clarion call and prescription for all women who seek to PREVENT- rather than eventually treat - this devastating female Emperor of All Maladies.”

From Dr. Geoge Yu, clinical professor of Urological and Pelvic Surgery at George Washington Medical Center (DC): “We must have more authors like Wadia-Ells, who are able to bridge the gap about the actual causes of cancer to the general public.”

And the neurologist, Dr Janak Nathan of Mumbai, India says, Wadia-Ells has “dared to debunk the establishment. She has succinctly dissected the shortcomings of the “Standard of Care” in cancers, namely, surgery, chemotherapy and radiation.”

The launch edition of the paperback is currently available at Manchester by the Book; Essex Bird Shop; The Book Shop in Beverly Farms, and at Common Crow; The Book Store and SunBanque in Gloucester.  It can also be ordered now from bustingbreastcancer.com.   In late November, the book will be available in paperback and eBook online, at Amazon and nationwide with independent booksellers, nation-wide.
