Cape Ann Savings Bank Closes Branches For COVID-19 Safety, Retains Drive-Through Service

To exercise COVID-19 safety, Cape Ann Saving Bank said today it will close all its retail branch locations to the public but it will continue drive-through teller services at one of its branches while supporting customer service and bank transactions through its telephone banking, mobile and online banking operations.

"This decision was made out of an abundance of caution, as the COVID-19 (coronavirus) situation changes by the hour. Our number one mission is to protect our customers and employees alike, while doing the best that we can to service our customers," said Cape Ann Savings Bank President Robert J. Gillis, Jr..

The The drive-though teller services will continue at Cape Ann Savings' Granite branch in Rockport.  The Manchester branch at 17 Beach Street was closed to the public last week as a precaution (although its ATM and deposit drop box remain operational) and as of Wednesday, March 25, the Main Street office in Gloucester will be closing to the public, until further notice.

For customer service, lending, Trust Department, or other immediate services, customers can call 978-283-0246 to speak with a staff member. Online, mobile banking and telephone banking services remain available "24/7."
